Of Nuri and such...

I am still stricken by the heli crash.

Born and raised as a PPH (Pasukan Polis Hutan) kids, Heli or Nuri is nothing new, we saw that everyday at the camp, on the way to school, on the way back from school.

What I like most is the gush of wind when the bird lands, even riding the bike pun kekadang sway jugak kena angin tu... I used to just park the bike and watch the heli come and go. Suka time tu.

I think its time that we bid farewell to the heli that had saved many lives, as well as killed many lives, let them rest, their time had passed. Dah tua orang kata...

teringat time masa mass communist attack at Kubang kerian or somewhere, in the early 70s, Nuri was flying in and out carrying wounded soldiers, they lost their feet, arms, gun wounds... aarrrghhh not a pretty sight. I was too small at the time, but i could remember the buzz, my dad was among them, alhamdulillah he was OK. Not so lucky Pakcik Jamaluddin ( my best fren's dad), got shot in the leg, he went thru so many operations after that, and put all sorts of besi in him, that, he is later named, Din Besi.
