2008 Kick Start

Phewww... finally all the huuu-haaa had passed.

I have a lot of catching up to do...

Meeting old friends was something that I look forward to each time. This time we met up for a quick hi-tea do on Sunday.

Rose, Riza, Me & Zaim, Norbay and Azli sitting down

Not many turned up but it was memorable do with tonnes of laughters.

Zaireen, Fara and Shada (at the back), Riza, Bibi, Mezzy, Me & Zaim, Suraya, Faz

Sitting down, Dr. Fifi, Yan and Jay

It was a sweet end-of-the-year meet.

The beginning of the year had me running around town like a lunatic. I simple had too many things to do and too lil time (well, who doesnt! duhh!!!)

Adik (Zarith) is enrolled in Year 1 this year, my regret... I was not there for him on his first day of school. I am sooo teribbly sorry munchkin!

I am on the back-from-school-to-the-van shift this week. I always have this worry of him not finding his school van in the midst chaos of after school. I will wait for him just outside of the gate and wait for the school van with him.

He is pretty excited about school, with all the new stuff that he has, who wouldnt.

Abang is now in Year 4, so their break time is different, Abg will break later at 10.10am, while Adik breaks at 9.40am. Adik will be on his own, he'll be OK!

Imagine the horror of handling 40 seven-year-olds during the assembly! Mak aiiii macam nak pengsan! I attended the first monday assembly, the headmaster asked them:

"Siapa yang masih minum susu dalam botol?" Many kids raised their hands

"Siapa yang masih tidur dengan mak?" Many hands raised

"Siapa yang mak dia mandikan pagi ni?" Many many more hands raised

Ha ha ha ... the innocent and honest mind of a child...

ok folks, till then!
