When I received the news yesterday, I was stunned. I thought everything went well and she is on the road of recovery from the surgery. But, alas, it took a different turn.
She was deteriorating at a faster speed than the docs' expectation. In a flash, she left us all.
Innalillah wa inna ilaihirajiun
I read back her e-mail asking for forgiveness, just before she was admitted to the hospital. Positive as she has always been, she was looking forward to be up and running again in no time.
Lil that she knew then what Allah has planned for her.
I did not know her personally, never met her before, but I feel her warmth in her witty mails, could see her smile between the lines.
For a dear friend whom I/ve never met, Kak Aziati, May you rest in peace. May Allah placed you with the Solihins.
You will definitely be missed, alwiz in our hearts and duaa.
‘O Allaah, forgive and have mercy upon him, excuse him and pardon him, and make honorable his reception. Expand his entry, and cleanse him with water, snow, and ice, and purify him of sin as a white robe is purified of filth. Exchange his home for a better home, and his family for a better family, and his spouse for a better spouse. Admit him into the Garden, protect him from the punishment of the grave and the torment of the Fire.’

Hello Kina, regret to read of your friend's passing away.
It is always sad to lose someone, whether a mere acquaintance, or a close friend,....
I too lost a very close friend, a matured woman who had loved me and only learned about it 30 years later (re my previous 19 episode postings).
But life has to go on.
