The weekend had been a short one... having a class on Saturday sometimes throw me out of the weekend mood. nevertheless, pengorbanan itu perlu untuk kesejahteraan Ummah. So to speak... I was not out to play golf, anyway, for the benefit of the mass (my own mass that is).
1. I was dissappointed with the proposal by a minister that women need to have a letter from the immediate family should they need to travel alone. Aiiyaaa... and this is coming from a Minister, a very seasoned minister, I would say...
Scenario 1: What if I am a sebatang kara lady, no hubby, no living family member, wants to go on vacation alone, who should sign my letter? Ketua kampong izit?
Scenario 2: Being in manufacturing line for donkey years, I travel across borders upon a call from a customer. Usually the customer expects you to be there in a flash, so the travel arrangement is done prompto. Now, I need to get a letter signed by my hubby b4 i can go. What if my beloved duhling hubby is out of the country? I need to drive down to Kuala Kangsar, to get the letter signed izit?
Who will verify the letter? I can oso write and sign my own letter, ooh wait, the next step would be, ask the signatories to thumbprint the letter, so that i cant cheat? Aiiiyaaaaaa!!!!
Why so mah fun one?
2. The Passing of Tan Sri Nasimuddin
This on threw me off course since Friday, to think that life is so fragile, no matter how much you have done, or have not done (In my case, it would be more on the have nots la kan). Ajal itu pasti.
To the family members of the late Tan Sri, my deepest condolence ( i hope i spell it right!).
Al Fatihah.
Will write again in a while, but being a Monday morning, it always come with the blues...
Till then folks!
